Multitude Monday

holy experience

I am trying to catch my breath since returning last night from our trip to Puerto Rico last evening.  I hope to share some pictures here soon!

Here are some of the things I was thankful for this week:
  • 618. Waking up to so many virtual birthday wishes via e-mail, FB and my blog
  • 617. The coqui's serenade- our lullaby for 3 nights
  • 616. The freedom to live without schedules or agendas for a few days
  • 615. Rest and quiet
  • 614. A long weekend in paradise with my husband
  • 613. My 40th birthday
  • 612. Parents who are willing and able to keep our kids for a long weekend
  • 611. Clean bills of health for my two boys at their annual physicals
  • 610. Getting another dental appointment and pain relief
  • 609. Remembering my weaknesses and Him, whose strength is made perfect in them.
You can find my running list of 1,000 gifts in the sidebar and read why I got started here.

Puerto Rico...been there...isn't it beautiful!! Where did you stay? Did you have an fried plantains? I thought they were scrumptious!! Rejoicing with you, my friend, in all your blessings...

We stayed at the El Conquistador Resort. It was an enormous, beautiful place. But if you can believe it- not one authentic PR restaurant in the place! We were disappointed as we love PR food- my parents were both born there. I do LOVE fried plantains- tostones!
