Praying the Psalms- Psalm 21

Jenny has begun a journey of praying her way through the Psalms that I have decided to join. Each weekend, we will pray through one psalm and post our prayer and/or meditations on that psalm as the Lord leads. Check out her journey and join us in Praying the Psalms.

Psalm 21
O Lord, I, too, rejoice in Your strength and take joy in the victories you have worked in my life and in the lives of others.  Many times, You have granted me the desire of heart and not withheld the request of my lips.  And many times, in Your goodness and wisdom, you have withheld requests from me and those I love.  Thank You, Lord!

You have granted me eternal blessings- every spiritual blessing in fact- and You also give me the joy of Your presence in the here and now.

I am so thankful that I have come to a place of trust in You.  Because of Your unfailing love, I will not be shaken!  I am so grateful for this today as I see the brokenness of one who is facing life altering circumstances without trust in You.  I pray You will draw her and her whole family to you through this shaking!

Be exalted, O Lord, in Your strength; I will sing and praise Your might!

In Jesus' Name.  Amen.

I sometimes forget to thank Him for the requests He has with held because they were not for my good. This is a good reminder.

I am so glad you are joining me each week. I am learning so much from the reflections and prayers shared.
