At the same time, I know I am not being honest if I try to sugar coat my struggles and emotions.Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02568583187756261273noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4833714148683674584.post-38090983699934441572010-09-12T17:35:31.896-04:002010-09-12T17:35:31.896-04:00Barbara, exactly! If I do, I then feel the need to add something "positively spiritual" sounding. This takes away from the relationship, but I do believe it also makes sure the relationship is balanced. It's just like speaking directly to anyone else, you also want to add something positive in the conversation, just to keep it from tilting too much on the negative or heavy side.Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01680470602835526738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4833714148683674584.post-79452531192362941952010-09-11T15:13:27.943-04:002010-09-11T15:13:27.943-04:00This is something I didn't even think of when ...This is something I didn't even think of when I prayed this psalm, but you are so right. He knows before we tell him - as you said - but we have to tell him anyway for our own sake. Sometimes in the telling we learn more about being close to Him.Barbara Schoenebergerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16951360211636509133noreply@blogger.com
